Aiptek, and arc work well together
Ispan andits software does not work well togethr Mustek and its software need an answer it is up to the user to take their time find a way to use the onveerter I found in Ulead photo explorer that you can minipulate the video size and res, and that may be an easier way to allow conversion. |

Welcome to the forum, benj63,
I'm not sure what you're trying to do. If you're trying to replay an .asf file from some other source in the camera, - you have to have the file/folder structure set up the same way the camera does it. You have to view the memory card in Explorer to do this. - your imported file has to have the same name syntax as the videos taken by the camera. It doesn't understand names like "videoname.asf". - and even then it may not work because these cameras are much more fussy about what they will replay than, say, Windows Media Player. You can use video editing or conversion programs to convert them to a playable format, but that's like black magic to get it to work. What camera do you have? |

I had the same problem.
style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"1. Connect camera to computer with USB. style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"2. Go to "My Computer" style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"3. Click DCIM box and see your pictures. style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"4. Change the name of the file to suit your preference, eg. "birthday 3-4-2006". style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"Good luck, style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"Fokdit |

fokdit,
The only thing I see about your steps, is that the files have to be in a folder, called 100PHOTO, 200MOVIE or 300MEDIA, inside the DCIM folder. If they're just in the DCIM folder, the camera can't find them. |
