As we've found, you can pay $60 or more for NP-60 batteries at camera or electronics stores. And as we've found, you can get NP-60's on eBay for $1 to $5. Now, it's unlikely these cheap batteries are "genuine", but they could well be, and there's no guarrantee the "genuine" batteries aren't fakes themselves. I haven't heard of anyone actually having trouble with the cheapos.

You'd think $1 would be cheap enough. But if you go to www.power101.com, you can get them for one cent. That's $0.01. You can even get the 1200mah "Kodak Klik version" for one cent.

The shipping is not exorbitant.

Now, why would someone be selling these batteries for one cent? They have other products you might be interested in, but they look pretty reasonable also. Power101 sells on eBay, with starting prices of $3.00 for the batteries.

Any ideas about what's going on here?

there are a number of reasons why a battery may be at a great price , and one reason I find is near expiration dates, when you charge a battery or batteries, the longer i sits , closer to its expiration date the less effective it will be. and that is where we thesmart shoppers can achieve a price break if lucky to find that great deal.

happy bargain shopping.

would the np-60's work with the Ispan-920's?

they're rated at 3.7v and 1000mAh, the 920's battery is 1100.

would that be okay?

I googled the seller and his batteries seem to work great.
