Looks like it's based in China. Why don't you send their sales dept an email to see if they have a distributor in the USA? I suspect they probably don't but you never know. Anyway the specs look pretty standard so why not look at models that you can get in the USA? Apart from Aiptek and DXG I know Radioshack sells Mustek for instance.

Welcome to the forum, qnoy,

I've added the Vafor cameras to the Hybrid List. Normally the addition of yet more "third tier" cameras would be greeted with a yawn. The DV508 and DV600B are nice looking cameras, but I wouldn't be surprised if they are clones of some sort.

What's really intersting about the DV508 is that it claims to have a function to record the GPS position of shots, and later easily locate the positions on Google Earth. Neat. But I think you need an external GPS to provide the location, possibly the GPS device also sold by Vafor. Anyway, an interesting new feature that could be extremely useful. As long a these cameras aren't vaforware.

The DV530 looks like the Digilife DDV-5300A. (found only on http://www.digilifeusa.com) Other than the color and the Digilife version's external mic, they are (depicted) identical. Names are similar also. The Digilife is not yet on the market, nor is this as far as I can tell.
