MPVR, but I'd go with shopathometv's deal for $159. If you can get the extra 10 bucks, you'll get 50 sheets of photo paper, and the awesomely awesome remote! :G

Also, read ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL 5 billion pages of my topic. I cover pretty much everything about the MPVR. Also got some pics to show you the QUALITY of this baby. :|

Armo...

1st a Big welcome aboard

you asked a excellent question but left out some very important details.

1 you do say aiptek MPVR. and you mention mustek and digilife

Would you be referring to the mustek 9300 and the digilife m1 series ?

you need to first research. and read the forum for ceertain individuals threads and comment to them for advice, if you need sample clips it is highly recommended you look into the important video upload center. you'll see a few participants there that have uploaded some sample shots.

you may also want to concider;

In the near future within a few week there will be about 10 mor hybrids being introduced to the market . and i sound more like you are not USA citizen. location location location. Ebay, online and a few stores you may find those brands again welcome aboard and good luck on your choice.

You'll definately want to pick up a 1 gig card. Only $50-60 too (go for the higher speed cards 50x +). I mean, unless you are using it primarily as a camera...DEFINATELY get a 1 gig card.

armorbreiz Jan 5, 2006 8:34 PM

where do you find 1gb sd card for this price?

Did you get to the part about the $.99 8210 830mAh battery?! Go to ebay, there's a guy selling TONS of them. They work great too (although they don't lastas long)and actually fit more snuggly than the official Aiptek one. But yea the MAIN accessories you MUST have are the following:

$9.99 AC adapter (comes WITH an attachement to connect to the camera so you can use your MPVR WITHOUT a battery--but then again, battery life is quite good...)

$14.99 MPVR Remote (MUST HAVE)

$15.00 tripod (MUST HAVE--not so much for stills, but for the remote--makes remote controlling and remote VIDEO/Stills capture reaaaallly easy :G)

Oh and YES you can remotely start video recording/take pictures with the thing, really freaking cool

(all of the above found on Aiptek.com)

and finally, if you REALLY have the money, a CameraBright tripod mounted light. Haven't tested it, but supposedly gives 10-20 feet of light depending on the model.

As I mentioned before in other threads .

what accessories needed depends how deep your pockets are

remote asneccessary as it ma seem if you got a use for it like 3facestated.

ac if you are handy you may make a homemade adaptor and recommended if you intend to record imput to the camera

tripod depending on the height you want excellent for all occasions.

camera bag and some moe stuff

Ipod pod?????????????

some neat stuf you cn do. side by side photo. win movie maker vids loaded into the camera as a portable player to show others.

add an external lens and have lots of fun

you will be very happy

armo. you were excellent on your essay. just that what i was sayin. your profile had no location and that may lead to saying where to get a hybrid Usa target has the IS-dv and mpvr. possably brandsmartusa. (lol) has some great sd carddeals etc.....
