KIm

welcom

The aptek IS-DV or 5700 preferres a sd card over mmc

that is where your problem lies

what are your other mmc card that worked with the camera/camcorder?

I have around 6 cards from 256-1gig

sandisk, panasonic, kingston A=data pny

one is a mmc card but clearly states sd reason I say this I tried loading a firmware ( MPVR) update and camera rejects card. thats my reason to know

no new firmware you must contct your local aiptek I should have clearly stated MPVR sorry

again your problem lies with a mmc rejecting the camera most hybrids like sd or certain types of mmc or sd cards.

RGcam has a saying

"use the best setting that does not interpolate

that is the 3 meg setting

If you gone to the top of the thread you seen hybrids in there is the IS-DV which is also called the IS-DV?

1 if you know of a person who has a sd card try it outfirst
I cannot promise you it will work? i am a real person that tries notto steer others wrong.........

2 take a snap shot usea photo shop visit the otherthreads that thalk about photo editing

you may need sharpen some pics andadjust light

but the camera takeexcellent Soft shots that is waht I remember when I had mine

YES IDO have mine again Just have to get new battery due to other person neglegence. they opened or tamperedhas batt life

I like thiscamera alot due to the fact ifI drive i can fit it in my head rest and film while I see the screen folded back

any photo software shall do

and3 meg no higher. thats medium setting. hope that helps outwe're here to please
