Sometimes the simplest overlooked thing is the fix. Of course this is often not the most obvious. We are so convinced, because of the complexity of electronic devices, that if they malfunction it is because of hardware. We forget that they are running complex firmware that is rarely bug free these days and is more likely to be the source of glitches than the hardware.

steps to repairing your hybrid if you lose zoom..............

1 you may load either firmwae back to the camera 1501, or 1707

2. after firmware in go to settings, and default camera. remove battery.

3. turn camera on and all is back to operating in azoom manner.

reason why camera would not set back unknown.........

taken the MPVR out and so fa it is working like a charm.

again just wondered if a hybrid can get sick which they can a virus. best to understand a major camera will not have headaches like these hand me downs. awaiting a response from Aiptek if this is normal to happen.........
