Welcome aboard

Did you review the review section

http://www.stevesforums.com/forums/v...mp;forum_id=92

the Ispan ddv-920 has a of the same branded models

if it says up to 1 gig , it will take up to 4 gig.

warranty , isonly as good as the store is bussiness.

craftmanship or vid footage seems better or worse depending on ccd or cmos

Sony, panasonic or aftermarket. takes a lil better low lightbut lacks indoor quality, and battery power

screen has no locking tab forsecurity.

thedigilife is a far better model, and may seem the same

read the review anddecide what's best 4 U?

that's the beauity. you're not supposed to. forexample the Mustek dv3500 only goes as high as 512mb the dxg 512

whatwill happ is that

1 the count may or may not display,

files above 512 may be currupted. and more

that is why they recommend.

I have a 920 and I like it. Excellent dim-light performance and an unusually good microphone system. Video-in.

Briefly on the downside, the CCD sensor suffers from pixel bleed on overexposed highlights, the screen doesn't close securely, you can't delete MP3 tracks, and the image stabilzation can interfere with panning.

Overall, though, it's excellent value.

Its a good camera, with the shortcomings mentioned by esspirit. If you got it for under $200 USD, you got a good deal too.

The Digilife DDV-1000 (same Life Sciences camera under its own brand name) has a suggusted US retail of $299 USD, but can be found on the web for less $200 USD. At the momment, its hard finding an Ispan seller in the USA to compare prices.
