Does anyone know whre I can purchase a spare video cable like the one that comes with the aiptek Mpvr. I mean the one that has 3 rca plugs on one end and terminates in a phono plug on the other? It would be nice to have one permanebtly hooked up to my DVD and my VCR.

Video and mono audio is fine. I'm not an audiophile! But was it a particular chain of 99 cent store? I havn't checked with Radioshack before I wrote this, maybe there all over the place. I notice that my cable has 4 rings instead of the 3 rings of a stereo audio cable, a standard rca to phonop wouldn't work( I don't think!)

I threw the packaging away, now I don't know which one I have! :?

There is nothing on or inside the camera that says which one it is. There is nothing on the accompanying paperwork either. It was a Christmas present. It has a chrome case as opposed to a black case. It has a recharable Li-Ion battery also.

Ok maybe I have an hermorphodite! The resolution is only 6 megs but I definitely have a stereo audio cable. I have a yellow, white, and a red rca plug on the end. I can see where the mono cable might be easy to find. Thats just a common stereo cable. A lot of stores carry them. You would just use one for audio and one for video in that case.
Mine is a horse of a different color I think. With the the three outer connectors of the RCA plugs tied to common that leaves three signal wires to go to three rings of the phono plug and the common going to the tip probably. What do you think?

p3aul. Just go buy one:G

1. not knowing of where it was picked up, and do not like guessing?

maybe the person swapped cables, like it is easily purchasedseperately in "A STORE".

the one to the left is the Mustek cable, the one to the right is ajvc cable the one in the above post is an aftermarktet 99cent cable.

the mustek is mini, the jvc issterio, the above cable works with mine the other two will not

it may not match up with the pins causing errors.
