I had noticed a similar thing on my PVR in that the audio was all out of sync then all of a sudden it was fine.

I never did find out what was the problem.

Thanx RGVCam for your interest,

On my IS-DV2 the easiest way I have found is to shoot a picture just after turning the camera on... ( You can shoot a video ...same result ) ... Strangely it solves the problem. :? ( I hope so ! lol ! ) but I must confess I do not know why ! :G I have to do that everytime i turn the camera on. Thank god , shooting a picture is quick and easy. It's like the Cam have to write on Card a first time to do it properly after ...

With My 128Mo SD Card ( PNY) : Good Audio sync in anyway.

With mY 1gGo S Card ( PNY) :

with fresh battery : Good audio sync
with Half battery life : need to shoot a picture before shoot a video =>good audio sync
with Low battery : Bad audio sync in anyway

I can't beleive it ... :O

Yes I think we were coming up with similar theories such as maybe it was when there was already noise or voice active when you started shooting, but I could never get it to happen. So I had to abandon that theory. I no longer have the PVR as I sent it to be exchanged for an MPVR so won't be able to try out anymore tests unfortunately.

2.4vdc to run a 3vdc sd card?

so 3.0vdc batteries at a lowest rating? may not be the culprate. or

a 2.4vdc at its lowest rating as well not be the issue.

but the drain of a hybrid?

I like to hear the answer they'll tell you?

" Please send it to us" here is the XXXX firmware"
