http://www.amazon.com/Aiptek-MZ-DV-MPEG4-Camcorder-Optical-Zoom/dp/B000FVZSYC/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/103-9928519-0464619?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=11738178 09&sr=8-1

Its on clearance for $159 (usually $199) with free shipping. Just be sure to take peek at my review about the noisy focus issue with this model. I noticed some of the reviews on amazon.com take notice of the noisy focus issue as well.

Looks like Aiptek is retiring this model. Hopefully they come out with an improved one (or at least fix the current one).

I agree. I can see this one dropping to about $129ish in the near future. I think Aiptek is gearing up to replace the MZ-DV and Zoom DV. Also the T300 model is just around the corner. http://www.aiptek.com.tw/english/product/dv/dvt300.htm

You can get one right now if you want. I have a connection in Germany who sells on eBay also. It costs about $176 in US, and another $35 to ship to US. But he includes a 2GB SD card. I thought about getting the T300, but the rubber cover in the back is very annoying and cheap looking. When I had the IS-DV2, each time I took it out of my pocket, that rubber back piece would always come loose.

I owned the Is-dv2 twice no more the 1.5 inch screen is a joke

the camera design is grea, but yes the rubber cover is annoying at all times, poorly designed and falls off, the IS-DV stays on far better harder to get off

the1.5 tft is super hard to see in an outdoor shot ,might as well close your eyes to video. what isworse the hybridin USC should not cost more than 99.99 the IS-DV2 went as low as 79.99 so for this one I see it 89.99 max.

if hits the USA then it will be 149.99 I bet?

I'll keep you in mind and yes shipping is a catch but got to pay overseas fees :|
