Does anyone know if there are any hybrid camcorders out there that allow you to start recording at a certain time or a number of hours later?

ie. Say I setup the camera at 8pm, but I don't want it to start recording until 8am the next day. Is there a way to do this with any of the digicams?

I've never heard of one with this feature. It makes more sense than some of the features some of them have, and wouldn't be very difficult to implement.

The closest I've seen to what you want is motion detection or monitor mode. Video starts starts when the camera detects nearby motion (6 feet or less) and stops when it no longer detects motion.
