Lost a e-mail from Amazon regarding 3 digital video recorders tjhat had built in male usb jacks to down load to your pc. One was RCA forgot other 2. Cheaper one was about $98.00 less built in memory. Looked like dispoosible unit seen at CVS drugstores.

Anyone know of these? and their image quality?

The camera is the RCA Small Wonder or the Pure Digital PSV-351, PSV-352 or Flip Video.

Pure Digital also makes the one use digital camcorders and digital cameras sold in CVS.

Old H

Thats the 3 I saw at Amazon.

These could be a simple way to shoot video from a kite and need a special rig or overly large kite.

Will be waiting for the full run down from Fishy C.

I have put off buying a hybred because I have yet to see one on this forum that was not causing problems.

What sort of problems do you mean? No product is perfect, let alone devices like these that do so much relative to their prices. Maybe we could sort out one that fits your needs.

S. Spirit

When a cameras out put is classified "descent" or "accepible" I tend to see the camera as a poor machine.

I like my choice of still or video camera to be rated "good", "very good" or excelent", a rare trio of ratings when it comes to hybrid.

If I had a dollar every griped about a poor to acceptible trait or lack of updates from mfr. I would have enough to buy the both of us a Leica digital camera plus a 2gig memory chip.

My feeling that they are low quality performers does not mean I totally dislike them. They have their novel applications due to their small size.

Bill I rather not comment but post?
below are some of the Rca models they can be found Locally.
If you take a look at some of the videos they look good? see below
It is a decision if you like holding item up like what you see below then so be it, I preferre something more Comfortable, and not out of the box
I can say my Hybrids i own are far supurior over the Rca?
sorry but one thing this may have an advatage on it is deposable:G

All kidding aside

Fugi, Kodak, other film cameras came out wih throw aways , they taken just a pic no zoom, then they added panaramic only. under water, flash etc.

they take excellent pics I truested a desposable over a pro for underwater., etc my trip to Alaska canon elphi jammed kodak film defective

now since we came into the digitalworld they now made a desposable video for 30.00usc and guessing many people started to use these. if they were not returning and keeping them it was best to stop production and dedicate to sales of non-desposables

we talked about this last year or so. a 512 and a 1 gig now up to a 2 gig is out 5 hours record time but the battery will die before. 130 avr price

around 100.00usc again i concider a Aiptek IS-DV model, and a spare battery.

If I were to go one step above i also concider the AiptekMPVr av input as well. same price

Reason why 1.5 inch screen not good 1.8-2.4 better today they're at a 3 inch screen

just my opinion. not my sales pitch

I own aMustek, first, Aiptek second both are equiling out due to differences in designs

this is what sold me the mustek dv3000.

if you're looking for a camcorder for a kite i concider a helmet cam look within a few pages here
