I can't seem to find that listed anywhere. Does this camera have a mount?

By the way - excellent section here, thanks in big part to fishycomics. Good work!

The DV-9300 has a standard 1/4 inch tripod socket. Its on the bottom, at the front of the camera.

The limited time lapse feature is for both stills and video. However, I've never gotten the the video time lapse to work correctly - files are always corrupted.

Will I be surprised in a good way or a bad way?

This camera will just end up strapped to my car's roll bar for racing videos, so super high quality and low light performance isn't very important. I just needed something that could stand up to the hardships of racing.

Does anyone know what the biggest SD card this camera can take? Also, how do you get extra batteries?

I'd stay with 2GB cards unless you can borrow a 4GB to test.
The battery that comes with the camera is a NP-60. It is usedby a lot of cameras and older cell phones so is readily available on the web. Because of the domed design of the battery cover, thethicker, longer life NP-120 batterywill also work.

Thanks Old HACer! That is some VERY good info to know. That makes getting an extra battery MUCH cheaper than their website.

you may find these batteris on aclearance in stores , and as well online 2 for one.

I had purchased and stil have thoughts that they're left overstock, with 75% juice still in them

my aiptek holds a greatcharge, but later on they lose their holding power, they'll last when you take them out of thecharger withing that day. let sitting not good.

this also held true for the aftermarkets.
