I just got my from Costco. Charged the batteries, which didn't take long at all and gave it a test run in-doors in the evening. My house isn't the best lit in the evening, as we try to make use of the natural light, so I think it is a great test. The Go-HD produced better results than either my Sanyo C6 or CG6, with better overall low light performance and much less color noise. As noted before, the audio isn't quite so great, but acceptable. Autofocus hunting is prevalent, but only a bit more than my C6. Also the zoom noise is better than my C6, but not as good as my CG6.

For a $250 720P camcorder you can't beat it!

I have also been hearing elsewhere that this camcorder seems to have better low light ability that the Sanyos which suggests that maybe Aiptek do learn from past fiascos where such as one model which seemed to have little to no low light ability at all!

Seems that this is turning into a popular model. I would be willing to be that we'll soon be seeing them in the actual stores before long.

I was watching the Wednesday June 6th episode of ATTACK OF THE SHOW,
which comes on the G4 Network, and they did a little story on the Go-HD
camera on their 'Attack This' segment.

You can view the video here...just click on the link that says:

6/06/2007 - Attack This: Video Recording and..

Oddly enuff, they call the company 'Apitek'. ;-)

Yes that is funny how they say 'Apitek' while all their Graphics show 'Aiptek'. I guess it could have been a slip of the tongue if it's a live show otherwise there would be no excuse.

Still it wasn't much of a story or review, just a quick advertisement for Aiptek basically.

Wasnt really an advertisment, its normal for that segment of the show. Just a quick
note of some products. If this becomes popular they might give it a real review
in another segment of the show, usually done by Will, one of the segment hosts.

Sorry I didn't mean to imply it WAS just an advertisement but that they really only gave a very quick glimpse.

I see what you mean. Search on Aiptek reveals nothing. Is this usual for Costco to have a short run on a product?

Costco is like a wholesale place they buy discontinued items not all.

tires are not made anymore like Bf goodrichs and they sell them? when gone no more? so yes Costco got a LOtt and well guess they sold it and no more, Possably when they get more they'll place in? like to see Out of Stock, and not just no search found?

Amazon no longer shows thet heater as a se tprice with the go? but had a low price of2 56 back up to 279 no tax and free shipping

Hey that beat Costco's 250 plus 18.00 plus free ship but no theater unit?
