I got mine in the mail yesterday and I have a small problem... all of my videos have these horizontal lines across the screen, and my stills have lines as well as the color being off. Here's an example:

rgvcam-

I've noticed the "wavy" issue you've brought up - I notice it most on fast action scenes where a lot of the foreground is moving or if I'm panning the camera fast. It's the most annoying flaw of the video produced thus far for me.

If there's no buffer, would a fast SD card help? I'm using an 8gb SDHC Class 2 card.

Davers! - that looks really bad - theres something definitely wrong here. To me it looks more like noise generated from the electronics of the cam than the physical lens. Perhaps the gain is too high - what setting is your "Exposure" set to? Is night-mode enabled? Mine is half-way and works ok for me.

Otherwise, I would exchange it. Others have ideas?

I wouldn't imagine a faster card would make any difference as Standard SD cards are already plenty fast enough for the bitrates these cameras use. Anyway I don't think they write immediately to the SD card, as they do have internal RAM.

Thanks for the tip, dnakamura. Night shot was in fact ON. I turned it off and had about the same results, so I reset the factory settings and the video now has VERY few lines, but they're still there. New video:

edited out the person , as I have observed the complaint, of the go?

I say, as a guess, the sensor may be bad? contact, return, send the file in, those are the options, if others show no lines then it is defective in my eyes?

almost like a vcr tape that is off track? so possably another solution or option some contact cleaner of a sd card clean the contacts let dry , try again as a last resort?

you may never know?

here is the pic

I would exchange it if I were you. That definitely looks faulty to me. It looks like some noise in the video capture circuitry.

It happens all over the place. And the hue of my stills is way off. Here's another example footage, showing lots of movement with minimal blur:
