Just got the next Go-HD in the mail (my dad wanted one). So now I have one with firmware V1.100 (new), and the one that just came in has the old firmware V1.003. I'll make a comparison video tomorrow.

My Camera uses the following firmware:

A friend told me, that he has seen the Firmware version 1.400
also over here:

http://www.megaupload.com/de/?d=WA88IRD2

So, anyway, you should probably register with Aiptek, so they
know you are now also using the new firmware and if you have any
trouble they can help you.

Regards, Stefan.

Hi all.
Well I have been busy trying out my Aiptek go hd its pretty good, but still trying to figure out some of the stuff it does.
I was going to get ulead 11 but mmm note sure after reading a review, i'm thinking of getting something called magix movie editor, so I can convert these mov files and then edit them into avi files and make dvd s of my holidays and also my gracie jiujitsu training and also competitions but as im new to all this, and switching teh camera on is like a whole new experience in itself. I have been using movie maker that came with my vistas to edit my footage from my sony cyber shot, but still mulling over a full editing suite ulead or magix.. any one used them on they go hd and which one would be easiest for a beginner .
Thanks everyone you guys are the best

Be warned about loading firmware. 300.00 usc is alot of $$$

aiptek.usa has no firmware period, or they're playing dumb.

once you load an Upgrade, and you got issue's who are you going to cry to.

Rays words

What firmware?

if firmware V1.4 is out, then there must be 3 versions in circulation... Here's a VIDEO I made (With my Sony DCR-TRV340) comparing side by side V1.100 and V1.003:

http://rapidshare.com/files/38907236/Movie.wmv.html

I also contacted Aiptek USA and they say that the only firmware update they have only updates connectivity with Macs.
