Hi Paulo

Thanks for the clips.

I don't have time to download everything over my slow connection, and I just realised I could ask you.

Have they got rid of that blue chroma lens abbreviation around really bright objects, radiating on edges out of centre?

Sent my Aiptek-HD camera back to Aipyek for the Firmware Upgrade.

I'll keep you all posted on how long it takes/when I get it back.

Wayne12,

The first set of clips that I posted has probably the most examples showing problems such as highlights being blown out, circular rainbows, etc. You should download just part 1 if you don't have time to download the rest.

My HC1 was nowhere near as bad and even that sometimes frustrated me.

Purchased this camcorder today and am checking it out. Been reading about the firmware and checked mine out and the version hasn't been mentioned. Anybody know anything about this:

Full: V2.101

In regards to the SD card, I got a Scandisk Ultra II 2 GB to start with. fishycomics I believe I read a post where you said other SD cards would be better. If so, why?

Welcome Intheroy....

Sdcard there is no need to get SDHC for this itwillwork fine with astandard one. but today that is all they're pushing soon standards will be gone.

At the beginning I found that info left on will crash the camera, high cpacity will notshow playback on camera you can delete and find the video still there from the cameras format

LMAO theis camcorder Does not have any manual controls if you want to count ev setting and white balance,

but we may neverknow

Just one trick,
I donĀ“t know, if this was posted yet...
If you want clearer 1 inch macro shots,
try to put a reading glases lens in front of the
AHD-200 and you can go near the object very near.

The normal macro shoot mode gets blurry, if you go
less than 30 cm ( about 12 inch),
but if you put a lens or a reading classes in front of the
AHD-200, it should be much clearer then.

Did anybody yet try to use an external zoom lens
for the AHD-200 ?
What would be the best lens for this ?
Many thanks.

Do you still have more footage,
where you fly it not so bumpy and more smooth ?
Many thanks.
P.S: How long can you fly the plane with one akku charge ?

Many thanks for the info about this new
firmware version.
Could you share this version somehow ?
Maybe upload it to megaupload ?
Many thanks.
