Now that almost all digital cameras produced now have fairly decent video with sound, it almost feels to me that it's a nostalgic crime not to at least take video now and then! Whereas a photo captures how people look, video captures their personalities.

A friend at work has a husband who is an art major who often goes to trips to China and sends back photos to her yet he has NO interest in video whatsoever even though the Canon camera he has is capable of pretty decent video. I said, it would be cool if he could bring back some actual video clips and not just a few photos of his work there. Actual video of the culture would be awesome. At first she thought he didn't know of the video function, but he told her that he already knew of that function but never used it. A real shame but each to their own I guess!

Myself I just took some video of a birthday party recently with my Sanyo C40 and also some of my Son again in the backyard. I suspect those backyard ones will be the ones I'll be looking at more in future years though.
