To think they had this for $69 in my local target for a day or two so when they first came out as a promotion, so $85 isn't really that great a clearance price in my opinion.

I was in Target just an hour ago. I noticed that they did not have any more IS-DV2s on the shelf. They had a few MPVRs but mostly they had tons and tons of this Polaroid hybrid, which I think is this one:

http://www.polaroid.com/global/detai...bmLocale=en_US

It appears to compete with the Aiptek products, only with less exaggeration of the resolution. I can't see if it is MPEG4 or MJPEG recording, though.

The IS-DV2 was still $99 in my local store. The Aiptek MPVR (or whatever variant it was) was now down to $129. Slim pickings for bargain hunters.

Just thought I would mention, I saw the Aiptek MPVR on sale at
Wallgreens for like 125, not sure of the exact model but it did have the remote control which is a nice feature.

Honestly I wouldn't have the heart to buy this camera for $39 even for a 5 year old. It may take nice pics and vids but the LCD on them is just a tad larger the a big postage stamp
