reason I am asking it will help others again to decide for themselves if it is a defect, flaw or an issue?

never want just one person to say

"hey the A-HD is defective"

i had a go-hd before and same problems reported here, sound on low background noise is irritating. when zooming the sound can be heard and its really bothering me. i guess its a flaw??? just my own opinion.

you opinion is greatly needed? the Go in a quiet room will pick up noise yes? the gears, even while that mic is where on the lcd screen? so it is not a mic issue if to be asked? more a machnical issue? but a very sensitive mic? the A-Hd they seem to relocate the Mic and even tweaked way too low the sound? so

wh y do we keep , me going back to a faulty item hmmm

i cannot say it is a sensitive mic on go-hd. because the noise is like hissing or i can say garbled. on my HD2 its clearly the sound is very neat. playback and even transfer on pc/mac with high volume is really natural sound. i guess its a hardware issue not firmware.

the sound is mor a feedback, white noise level ? Aiptek claimes the problem is there and awaits a headquarter response. so no future fix just allow the hybrid tosee the junkyard and make a new one
