Okay, looks like the low-res modes on the A-HD are pretty good. I sort of figured they would be, but now we know for sure.

Glad you liked it? I wanted to do the close up of the Pond, but for some reason the camera did not save my setting? it is a glitch, i think?

Close up, in a radius shot will have a greater detail, in my eyes, over a infinity shot? water should realy not be used? thanks

Fellas -

Figured I'd update you on my purchase. I found a Sanyo Xacti VPC-C6 on ebay and got it for about $180. With Shipping and a 2 gig card I figure to spend about $230 which is $30 over what I wanted to spend but I with the reviews and low level light performance. I should get it early next week and I'll let you know what I think.

I won't be around to find out the result. I'm leaving tommorow for my 2 week trip through Europe. My Sanyo CG6 will be comming with me, with several cards and an extra battery. This will be the most extensive test of a camera I've ever done. I am packing my Aiptek IS-DV2 also, but I probably won't use it at all unless something goes wrong with my Sanyo.

I am not sure exactly the difference between teh C6 and the CG6. If they are more or less the same camera, then I'm sure you'll be satisfied, especially at the price you paid. (assuming nothing is broken on it, etc...)
