I took my Sanyo CG6 and my Aiptek IS-DV2 as a backup. Never used the Aiptek, it ended up stored away in one of my bags. I did use the Sanyo a lot. It performed well most of the time. I am surprised that when I got home I discovered that I had only used about 900 MB of space on the memory card for the entire two weeks I was gone. I had brought 4 GB worth of cards with me, and never needed them. I also never needed the extra battery I brought with me. I guess I was overprepared. On the other hand, I didn't get videos and photos of as much stuff as I would have liked because it wasn't always convenient to pull the camera out and use it. Oh well, live and learn.

One problem is sometime when I was in Germany I got some gunk on my lens and didn't realize it for over a day. So many of my pictures and videos look as if I'm shooting through a dirty window. I still don't know what it was or how/when it got on there.
