These Issues were brought to Aipteks Attention and they are aware of the updated problem. they are working on a fix they have caused. and when that comes around

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"WHEn it comes around you'll have to let them know, not the opposite. takes time and it hurts.

I basically plan to just watch these forums to see when a fix is releasedand then give them a call to get it downloaded.

Meanwhile, I'll be playing email tennis with this aiptek guy. :G

It is Best to Keep in contact with a Aiptek Support team, do not drop your note , if you do, you'll just start all over again. and they will not release a Firmware to you unless tawain works on a fix to be released not just for one individual. just for their camera in a warehouse.

hoping they will make a release on their site and auto response as well.

Come to think of it, its pretty simple to have an auto-response on their email. At least so people don't feel forgotten. The main thing that drives good companies is good customer support and quality control. Just having that auto-response could have some effect on Aipteks popularity or sales or just general professionalism. I know it really bothers some people that they don't immediately respond. I just wish Aiptek would find these forums and read about themselves. They could learn alot.

Hello,

I just picked up the A-HD at Circuit city for $129.99, Firmware 1.6.

I want to use this light device as a helmet cam. Any way to turn off LCD to extend the battery life?

I also received the firmware via Email from Aiptek, but not installed it yet.

Thank you

Nodent
