I just opened and fixed mic inside camera. Took it apart, soldered mic off, wired it and lifted mic upwards to hole where it is suppose to be, then filled empty holes with rubber foam from spare earpieces (Koss the Plug). Sound is much better now, no more canned sound, sound is more clear, but there is still lots of background electrical noise, I guess you could not remove that so easily. I didn't make external mic jack, because I didn't find any space for it inside camera and I probably don't use external mic anyway, I want camera to be easy to carry.
