Fishy, I think you are confusing the A-HD with some other model. My A-HD only records A/V input in full D1. This is with both 1.6 and 2.x firmware, no changes.

You can select CIF in the menu, plug in the AV cable and record. Recorded video will be D1, I can find no way to change this setting.

If you can get yours to do line input in 320x240, tell us how!

cannot downgrade, if you wanted to load firmware yoube only loading the same exact one on without japanese language

I had, yes had made avideo of av input how to and demo'ed.

Yourissuesare with the Ebay sellingyou a defective unit, and you, now contacting one the User, or Aiptek?

Cannot blame Aiptek but the user for a Yard sale, if in their sale that USED defect in unit not mentioned?

problem may be no receipt to show proof of Purchase but (cough) dish out the dough and (cough) you get the hint. only other option.

well, i have contacted the user, that say "I only used av in mode to record a few clips that were about 3 minutes in length but i never had any problems."

and contacted aiptek but no reply for now...

now i'll wait only the aiptek support reply, after that, i'll sell this unit, because in normal mode works great, and i'll buy another one from an ebay seller (shop)!

i think that this cam is the best for res, quality and with av-in option.. (of course the price is good too) right?
