Look ---> http://forums.steves-digicams.com/fo...mp;forum_id=92

1440x1080 @ 30 fpsis Standard HDV resolution, most HDV-camcorders use 1440x1080 (playback as 1920x1080)

FullHD= 1920x1080

  • HDV 720p: 1280 x 720 pixel with frame rates 25p oder 50p (30p oder 60p) optional 24p [/*]
  • HDV 1080i: 1440 x 1080 pixel with frame rates 25p oder 50i (30p oder 60i) [/*]
Eyyyyy! On European Aiptek Z500Plus I miss

AV-IN ---> YES, Record at 640 x 480 (VGA)

In Europe/EU there is 14% (senseless)extra dutyon recordable video devices :roll:.. they have omitted this feature ?

The reason I called it "non-standard" is its a 4:3 rato, not 16:9. Wouldn't playing at Full HD require interpolation of the horizontal?

Widescreen (16:9) regular screen (4:3) wide reg et.................

they're jumping back and fourth nah, it is just a step up notworth the same sound, samecamera, same Quicktime, samechip modded, boosted, minipulated, or is it?

I am extremely happy with my Aiptek A-Hd andwouldwait again for a A-Hd2. the next model over this one even though it is the same. I have my reasons and I have my spare . and I will then have my collection.

1440x1080 uses not quadratic pixels, but 4:3 pixel.

Not the format is 4:3, pixels are 4:3 ... 1440x4/3 = 1920

HDV knows no 1920x1080, this is non-HDV :evil:... and named FullHD
