I saw this model at Bestbuy:

Does anyone know anything about this product? Based on the spec, it looks like A-HD with different outlook.

I'd say it looks more like an ipod than a camcorder

That is an interesting device. You're right! It looks like an i-Pod. How bizzare. I'd love to see some sample video.

Nice small hybrid. It looks like DXG "borrowed" the design of the "Flip Video" cameras:-) But this baby shoots in HD unlike the Flip. I can't wait for this hybridcam to be available in europe. I MUST HAVE ONE. French tech video blogger Charbax, visited the DXG booth in CES 2008.

Video samples from DXG hybrids are still not available for download:sad:

From DXG own international site:

The video on the flip devices is actually quite good, so if this records in HD as good as they record in SD, then this will be quite a good buy. One advantage this has over the flip is the expandable SD memory slot. The disadvantage I can see though, is that since it uses a 5MP CMOS sensor as opposed to the much smaller VGA CMOS sensor of the flip, I am betting it's low light ability won't be as good. From the samples I have seen the flips seem to be quite good in low light no doubt to their sensor's low pixel count.
