External microphone input!!!!!!

I'm hoping this will make it to the states.

That external microphone input is something I've always wanted with a hybrid.

Nice find Private Idaho!

Wow, nice looking cam from Agfaphoto who as I recall, is a pretty old school brand. When I hear the name Agfa, I reminisce back in the days, when we all used cassette tapes, vhs tapes and photo film:-) But nowadays they're like nonexistent but this could give them a sort of comeback to consumer market. And seems like they listened to the consumers regarding mic-in:O
The body look somewhat of a Sanyo Xacti clone to me, but this is not bad at all. I like the silver and black finish. No info on this hybridcam on Agfa's homepage, only it's "little brother" the AP DV-5000G, which is a standard def. hybridcam.

Yes I was wondering on the name AGFA as well. I thought they had gotten out of the digital camera business. Is this the same company or is like Polaroid where some company bought the name and now sticks it on third party products?

Looks promising, but I am wondering how it records in stereo when it looks like it has mic holes in same spot, maybe that was wrong info or stereo is for external mic only.
