All these varieties confuse the heck out of me!

http://www.amazon.com/Aiptek-Pro-Def...2072644&sr=8-1

That looks just like the Action HD from Aiptek's website except Aiptek's website shows red wording on the back of the LCD which I believe says "Action".

That Amazon page says its the A-HD Pro. Is that really the Action HD?

Or does anyone else have a better place to buy Aiptek from?

Thanks so much for all the help thus far!

Really looking forward to purchasing a camera for my vacation!

Aswe'r in the A-HD+ simular to the Action Hd, andAction HD Pro.

the Action HD Pro is "the action HD" store branding, or just newer firmware to the cam, or possable unknown part corrected.

Amazon what was the price 200.00 on a one year old or more model?

The link I pasted says it is new for 199. It's named A-HD Pro which I don't see anywhere on Aiptek's website.

On my AHD+ with the 1.404 firmware I cannot save the date and time after changing it in the setup menu. It always goes back to 12/31/06. Any ideas on how to make it save the date?

JW... Welcome aboard to the site. new and improved. and new owners.

the time and date FYI, is not a stamp on video or stills, just when the files were created, and shown in the properties of quicktime.or other.

I have made a video how to quick one showing it can be done, and I am as well on 1.404, and yes mine is blue , not silver.

Thanks for the video on setting the time and date. I followed your instructions exactly. After setting the date and time when I go to the menu/menu/camcorder and then back to mode/date-time the date is back to 2007/01/01 and the time is 00:00. I realize the date won't be stamped on the video or photographs themselves, but would like the file date to reflect when it was made. Any other clues? Thanks again.

if you defaulted cam, formatted cam, and you get no save. the problem may lie in the lithium battery, it can be dead. I am sure it can happen, and it can be replaced. in thethreadsdeep in here around page 4 or so I show the opening, 5 screws done, but please contact Aiptek, and request a fix.
