I am an avid mountain biker who is trying to make a Helmet cam. I have done some research and believe the cheapest way would be an Aiptek Action or A-HD Plus with an attached Bullet/lipstick Camera.(does this need a separate power source?)

I would like to be able to use a camcorder rather than a mini DVR so thatit can be used it for video and stills.

Any info, input or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi and welcome to Steve's.

I've just moved this to the Hybrid Still/Movie/MP3 Digicamssection as you are more likely to get the experts there to give some advice.

You can strap onto your helmet an Aiptek Pencam SD.
