Greetings:

I sent an email to Aiptek asking for when this new Z600PRO will be available in USA.

Also asked for what would be the price range.

As for having image stabilization as the only new feature, its a feature that is very
much welcomed.

Anyone else have more information about this camcorder, links to sites, etc.

Regards Robert

Aiptek has already image stabilization in their models, this isn't optical image stabilization in their new model. It looks like only thing which is new is taking photo while recording video.

I am sure it is stablization of cropping like the older ones

I a msure it has a new lensor cmos sensor, and I am sure the sound better be improved, but I am totaly sure AIptek didnot ask us what we want and that i am sure to pass on the newer model.

But what about the important questions, like performance, bit rate, sensor used, settable or manual controls?

You know, I would rate a decent pair of stereo microphones, if that is what it has, as a MAJOR improvement. The audio on my Sanyo HD700 was just soooo reliable...

Greetings Everyone:

Personally I believe this new Aiptek has the same design as the Sanyo HD 1000.

Notice I said the same design, but not the same quality.

I would think that holding this new camcorder would be comfortable and very steady.

Although I'm a little disappointed that the image stablizer is electronic, but not optical, it still will help produce a steady video.

I would have been happy if the lens would have been a F 2.8 or larger, now that would be excellent.

Would anyone in the chat room have any information as to why Aiptek doesn't have an office in Canada? Any where in Canada.

There are many Canadians who would love to get Aiptek Camcorders but can't, can anyone explain me why?

Regards Robert

By the looks

AIP should have redesigned the record button, the battery doors lock, made a screw on barrel added a ext mic, showing the mic input has been added to the center lcd screen rather uppler left. added a ext flash boot hmmmm cap lens cap seems to not be standard or gonna work or is it

Now since AIptek switched design do you realy think they switched chips or Improved apon this?

also do you think USA will recieve this model or north Americans/Canadians

October 2008 expected date if asked me may aug and oct are their toss out dates. give a month Price 299.99 will be the topped out, 229.99 will be ideal
