Greetings Everyone:

Computex 2008 has come and gone, and Aiptek has unvieled a new camcorder, the
Z600 PRO.

In 6 months to a year from now there will be a new Aiptek Camcorder.

What feature would you like to see on a new Aiptek Camcorder?

A poll has been setup above, enjoy.

Regards Robert

I think it would've been better if you had allowed more than one option because there is more than one of those I'd like to see on a new device.

WIFI I think is a feature I don't think is necessary for this type of product or even really desirable. WIFI hotspots are not prevalent enough for a lot of people and unlike digital cameras, video files are huge so it wouldn't really be practical either unless for some reason you simply had to get the video to someone the same day but then you'd be in the news business using a professional camera anyway...

I vote:
* significantly improved audio
* choice of recording at higher bitrates
* optical image stabilization
* threaded lens

lets say AIptek already listens, and reads the forum here. so will they go that step to help out,

yes they do for now its quiet on the front with them, no secrets released or any 1440x1080 today what is the next step above that 200 plus added to the res, and 300 fps or will it be 150fps

I like to see a slow mo added like that new sanyo with less not overkill.

oh we forgot manual controls

Cheap and excellent pocket size magnificient camera/camcorder which can even make coffee for you (cheap and excellent coffee), is really what we all want. I haven't seen that yet and I guess never see it

As a multi Billion dollar company, I would have to say that getting their attention is about as likely as anything else...NOT!

Since they make way more than these hybrid cams, I think our energy is better spent (mine at least) in a company closer to home.

I have had several conversations with a contact at Jazz Cameras and I believe I am earning their trust as a consumer/advocate.

I have been given some info/specs on new models to be released later this year but have not received authorization to share just yet.

I will be pointing this thread to Jazz Admin in the hopes that they take to heart the poll results and provide us the product we are wanting them to create!

I can say that the specs are clear as to the higher megapixel rating and what looks to be a CCD system over a CMOS chip system which could affect performance.

Anyone wanting to ask directly for specific featue development, let me know and I will pitch it on behalf of we users!

Greetings:

I believe that representatives from Aiptek and Jazz Camcorder do visit this forum to

view users comments, but I don't believe that they participate in replying to any
comments.

I believe they want to hear from us the consumers as what are needs are for future camcorders.

If these representatives would state to us at least where Aiptek or Jazz are
heading towards like, improving video resoultion, improving zoom power, etc, then
this would help users as to what to expect.

Regards Robert
