Hey everyone, I'm looking for a cheap HD camcorder with image stabilization and sdhc support over 8gb, with so many manufactures out there with cameras looking have have identical features it's been hard for me to one under $200.

Anyone used this?

Found a test video http://www.vimeo.com/1068402?pg=embed&sec=1068402

The quality looks great, but thats cause of the lighting condition.

It seems to have been encoded with the Ambarella chip with the same 4Mbps bitrate as used by the Aiptek Camcorders. The video looks good but then the scene is not very complex so you need to find some more samples to get a better idea. Even my $99 Jazz HDV178 can look this good when the scene is not complex. The current ebay price of $269 seems a overpriced considering it's 720p and you can get an Aiptek 1080p model which also uses the Ambarella chip for much less.

Yeah I think it's wayoverpriced aswell, I prefer this design than the upright models these companies are using right now.

I think jazz is releasing something that looks like this, butI've download test videos of the jazz hdv-188 and the way the videos areencoded, don't work with the software I want to order ( Movie Edit Pro 14 Plus ) Something with the way either the video/audio is encoded, makes it incompatible.
