Greetings:

Does anyone know of any other Pocket Camcorder company that produces 1080
video.

In other words is Aiptek the only Camcorder?

Also does anyone have the website of Jazz Camcorders, I can't seem to find it.

Regards Robert

There are other companies making 1080p hybrid cams. Check out the "Hybrid camera list" post on top, which is made for the purpose.

Hehehe! No worries fishycomics. Actually my comment was directed at RobMtl007, cuz he was asking if there were any other brands making 1080p cams. Therefore I mentioned the list maintaned by sgspirit, which is a great list but somewhat loooong to go through and I guess tht's why people just posts cam question instead of going through the list.

Most of the companies seem to be about a year behind Aiptek. Aiptek seems to be more willing to bet on the marketplace. I would expect a Jazz 1080p camera sometime over the next year as well as from other players entering the market. However 720p is still going to be popular as 1080p without a more powerful computer is going to be difficult for people to edit and play back. 720p is much less of a problem. I want to find out whether it is Aiptek or Amberalla that implements the B-Frames. That is probably the main reason that players have trouble with Aiptek videos. The Jazz AVC files do not have B-Frames.
