I have two of the original AHD-720p versions running I believe 1.302 and the other 1.6. So do you guys advise that I not upgrade these units to 2.x versions of the firmware?

What about the 1.302 one? Any reason that I would need to at least get it up to 1.6?

Thanks!

Best aiptek for loud environments would be dv5700 (is-dv) or mic input modified aiptek AHD camera. When upgrading fw to 2.0> you get slightly better -6dB decrease in mic gain, tough sound cracking still occurs if sound is much louder than this, aiptek doest have AGC circuit.
