Hi guys, I just found this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/HD-DIGITAL-VIDEO...QQcmdZViewItem

It looks like it has all the features of the Aiptek A-HD+ plus MUCH more.

This Megxon camera has image stabilization and could be used as an MP3 player and a webcam - I think the Aiptek A-HD+ can't do that (correct me if I am wrong).

So, has anybody tried the Megxon camera yet?
How is the image and sound quality as compared to the Aiptek A-HD+, etc. ?

Come on, guys - somebody must have tried one of these already, no?

On paper, they look like a real good deal. Even better than the Aipteks.
But is this so in reality?
That is the question...

by the looks of it Black is a dangerous color for finger prints LOL

the cam does not look great very plastic looking, looks like a digilife or ispan,

the cam is 720P a Hi def with vga @ 60 fps a SD def hmm we already have a higher def with hi def 60 fps works for me.

Now all in all I am happy to see other models in HD I also wonder and now anxhious but again that seller wants to sell he or she will notworry bout video etc cam will speak for itself and to me a lost sale

It's a hybrid camcorder like 100 others too. Nothing exciting.

Interpolated pictures ... I can get 16.000x12.000 pixels with a 0-cent-program.

Yeah, but it has image stabilization. Something very desireable. At least I look at it that way.
About the plastic look of it: pretty much every hybrid camcorder that I have seen and held looked like a cheap piece of pastic. That's one of the main reasons why they go for $120, I guess.
Fishycomics is right - we need samples. Actually, collecting some samples and opinions on the performance of this camcorder was the goal of this thread.

Plastic; the Aiptek MPVR in blak shown finer prints, they even dulled it .

the jazz 188 isall plastic same.

the jazz 178 they placed rubber 75% around greatway to make better

butthe Mustek is not all plastic and tht shows a greatway adding aluminum around most the body.

so not all hybrids are plastic

I spoke to the seller and he said that he had a sample video.
He asked me how to get the video to me.
And Irealized that I don't know how.

Any suggestions?
What is a good video hosting site that does not mess-up the video quality?

Alright, I just received a sample video from the seller. A cool guy.
He has put it on Rapidshare.
Here it goes: http://rapidshare.com/files/130996537/DIGI0007.AVI.html

Please, have a look at the sample video and leave a comment!

My own thoughts: the intense exposure flickering is unbearable - it feels pretty much like a video, taken with my Samsung photo camera. Just slightly bigger.
