http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...uct_id=9914700
1920x1080, 30fps
5X Optical Zoom

Anybody has samples? I'm very hungry to see them :-). Too bad I live not in US.
If the video quality is not worse than DXG-569V quality, at least, it could be a great camera!

I purchased the same camera but different brand on EBay from a Hong Kong seller and paid $232 (US) just 2 weeks ago....Oh, well. I should have been more patient. Anyway, I have been very impressed with the build-quality (much better than Aiptek), nice solid feel. I have been traveling on business so I haven't had a lot of time to play with it but I did take a few video clips and stills and I am very happy. It doesn't handle quick pans too well, but none of these hybrids do. For $179. you can't go wrong.

I noticed that DXG never shows new models on their website until it's been out a while.

by the looks

it is a nice design, the price is great 180.00

features all look great.

not happy where the record and nav button is at. I do not concider this a hygrid design to me due to a camcorders design, it is a hybrid but not the shape.

Three inch screen SWEET5 X optical not 10x total Sweet 5x opt plus 2x digital

and remember it is a INTERPOLATED MODEL

as well Arcsoft is it going to be hd editing or editing to a 720x480, so far with the Jazz in HD it only edits to SD, and the Aiptek with a different one in HD

that is the basic editing software,

great to see them in stock if in stores?

Correct, but there is some mess.
I can't match DXG-595V with any of the models from the website.
DVH-595? No. Because of 720p and no digital zoom.
DVH-596? Nope. Because of 4x digital zoom and EIS.

I just ordered one of these from Walmart. I downloaded the manual from the DGX site and it states the camera has the following features:

-1080P @ 30 FPS
-720P @ 60 FPS
-720P @ 30 FPS
-EIS (YES!)
-Macro

The firmware menu looks exactly like the Aiptek Action HD. I'll post a review once it arrives later next week.

Ok, long wait for DXG, have any of you guys got samples, or bit rates for the different video modes? Let's put these things through their paces.
