Hi all,

I just bought an aiptek ahd100 this morning for €88 (+/- $150?) as a carry around/play cam to go alongside my sony hc18.

quality of the few test shoots ive made are (imho) amazing, very close to my sony dv. stills are ok-ish, great snaps, but hardly competition for my d400. sound, on the other hand, is a bit dodgy, but sufferable.

Does anyone have any hints or tips to improve my aiptek experience? Any opinions on my favorite new toy?

love,

Jas

ps. I did a quite search to see if there were any faqs etc on this model. Feel free to delete this thread if this is already a well covered topic.

Aiptek will release a model to a selected country, they do this for their reasons.

the MPVr wasreleased first at one place while others had to wait. like you are the first for the DV-AHD100. not a big deal because the models we have are the upper models.

what we are waitingwould be some better samples not just of the inside tv but wit hsound and outdoor indoor etc. thanks

Hi Jas,

Could you please do a small video while driving around in a car to compare the sound quality.

I took my ahd200 back to the shop mainly because of the un-acceptable sound.

thanks
delta

sorry guys, havent been around for a while.

ill see if i can get a sample delta, but to be honest, the sound is crummy at best. anything/anyone making noise further than 6 feet away from the camera cannot be understood.
