I just got mine from Walmart this morning, I have to be at work all day but I could upload some samples tonight I think. BTW Quicktime reports that it is doing [email protected] 720P, just playing with it a bit durring lunch I notice that the autofocus is a bit slow.

SWEET! Mine is on the UPS truck waiting to be delivered. I went home during lunch to check on the package but it still did not arrive.

Big thanks!
Could you please upload 1920x1080 and 1280x720 samples as well (yours is 1440x1080)?
Is it really possible to use an Optical Zoom in 1080P mode (Specs says - no, you say - yes)?
Is there any lenses cover?
How does the camera fits a pocket? :-)

Rather than a capit has a built in iris that closes over the lens with a button to manually open and close it. Yes you can use the optical zoom while in 1080P I was using it in that video but you can not use EIS in 1080P. That clip should be 1920 x 1080 that I uploaded. It can't really fit in a pocket except maybe a large pocket in a coat.

Actually, it is not cheap feeling at all. It has a substantial feeling (weights about 300 gr. w/ the battery). By the way, mine is not DXG (probably made by the same Chinese company) and does not mute the sound when zooming.

Also the mic is on the back side of the display window so it keeps it a bit away from the camera body and can keep the zoom sounds down a bit.

I saw three secs ofagirl riding a bike no more?

1 can is based on a camcorder not a hybrid, so I can imagine it being bulky.

2 sweet a internal cover, works for me.

3 I am uncertain if online sites will show a larger flash size thought1080x1440 was the biggest .

always looking foward for more info but first enjoy it then we'll see some footage

Quicktime on my computer is reporting the short clip I uploaded is 1920x1080. I would like to upload a longer clip but that will have to wait till I get home.
