I'm selling my DXG-595V. If anyone's interested. Comes with an 8GB SD. $135 and free shipping.

Ebay listing:

Hi Guys,

I have just got a DVH-596 (UK version of DXG-595V) and I'm very impressed with it up to now! Yey!!

Question is regarding the Nikon wide angle lens that brachiopodfixed to his camera.

Has anyone else done something like this?
Can other adapters fit?

I'm looking for something cheep, maybe a used one from ebay. Nothing major just wanted to have a mess around before my holiday to the US later this year.

I've had a look around and the WC-E24 is quite expensive (about £80, I only paid £110 for the camera!)

Thanks,
Dom

There's a seller on eBay selling them for only $24.95 right now. I just ordered one; we'll see how it is. Unfortunately they only ship to the US.

Hi polpo,

Doh! never mind! I'll keep looking on ebay one might turn up.

I'm bidding on a Nikon UR-E8 and Rowa Optics 52mm pro Digital super wide.
I'm sure they will never fit but for the price I can have a mess around with tape, etc. You never know i just might get lucky.

If i win them I'll post my results here.
Fingers Crossed! :-)

I have an HD D10 and that is the firmware vers. that came with my camera.I bought the camera about a month ago. V1.20_0919. What are your bitrates? and what SD card are you using. My Hd D10 has bitrates hitting highs of 13 in 1080p mode and 8.7 in 720p. According to all the specs. listed here, the high for the DXG-595v seems to be 11 in 1080p

Thank You
