The MPVR is only $79 on Aiptek's own website! They don't list the MPVR+ anymore but the only difference of course is the 5MP instead of 3MP sensor.

I don't know what Target is playing at, but they are clearly ripping customers off with their non sales prices for the MPVR and MPVR+. The price drop for the MPVR to $99 seems to be temporary more. I think they should make it permanent although I am sure they will discontinue it before long as it's a bit long in the tooth already.

88.00 sales I have watched for a long time.

I t hink these should go to a close out as well, and fade away.

If that ever happens, I be amazed. love the cam at the start, and so tempted to start refilming, just am so HOOKED with the Hd models.

Well, I have the ISDV2.4 and I can say that mine does well in low light!
It seems to be better than the ISDV2, in this way.
However, the audio is recorded at a low sampling rate.
In addition, the resolution of the sensor -- said to be D1 capable -- is really only VGA scaled up to D1. If you connect to a big tube TV, you'll be disappointed in the artifacting along the edges of subjects.
The resolution of the HD Aiptek Action HD is much better... even in standard definition mode... but the low light performance is worse. Audio is sampled at a higher rate with the Action HD, too.
For me, the ISDV2.4 is a good cam to put in the car where I don't care if it gets stolen.
