Firmware is not a fix, it is an adjustment. hardware is a fix :G

so till hardware is correctly installed and firmware written to adjust the controls then will we be Happy.

Give us firmware that we can adjust ourselves up/down the sound aswell as thevideo, then we would not need to be looking like fools.

maybe there will be one day a volume adjustment o the cam if they ever get their act together

dam another stolen idea

I did not know wherever you where referring to this as part of a firmware fix, or the new z600, or fix of auto focus.

You guys from "North America" should wait for the US version as I think it will be a better hybrid than what we get here in Europe. If there's any firmware problems they will get fixed on the US version. It's like EU version is a test version for the final US version. These are just all my own personal thoughts and opinions and not a statement from Aiptek:-)

hehe you really think so? :GThen you never owned the Aiptek PVR they sold here in bestbuy! It produced poor video that looked like they had oversharpened it. As fishycomics will tell you,I waited for a firmware update that never came. They just pulled it from the market instead. Yet from what I understand the European version didn't suffer from this.

They do list stereo audio so it's a good chance that it is the pro model and not the regular Action HD.

I am very much interested in this camera but I am not keen on the Action HD case design. I would rather it be like the z600 and hopefully it has a better battery door. The Action HD design doesn't seem to have changed much since the MPVR days.

Greetings:

Is there anyone in Europe that took the plunge and bought the very first Aiptek Z600 Camcorder.

I'm just itching to hear the first review about this Camcorder.

Regards Robert
