I got a confirmation e-mail from Aiptek USA that the European model AHD Z600 will be called the "Action HD Pro" here in the U.S. and it should be available to U.S. consumers "within a few months." No exact date given.

In a few months, I believe it will be available in October 2008.

Greetings:

If Aiptek will take a few months to begin marketing the Action HD Pro.

Then they should create packaging for the Action HD Pro in English and in French,
just perfect for the Canadian Market.

Come on Everyone lets make Aiptek market the Action HD Pro in Canada.

It will be more popular than our upcoming Federal Elections.

Regards Robert

Wow what a name! Action HD Pro. Now let's see if it can live up to the "Pro" in it's name. I was thinking like "Action HD2", "Sports HD", "Adventure HD" and so on. Ok name change for US version but what else? Probably color will be different too. Oh and also containing the AV-in option which is missing on all EU versions. Price wise it will also be cheaper. So all in all I think the US version is gonna be a better hybrid. Lucky americans:G

How do you know the next model with have mp3?

Personally I think they should keep mp3 off these devices and concentrate on the video aspect more. Of course good A/V input would be nice as well.
