Aiptek confirmed tonight in a email that there is no firmware update for the Action HD camera.

Tawain is also being defensive as well.

back when pcs and the net was not around Firmware (my guess) was ship back to company for a fix. today it seems the same where we have the computer to do it for us.

I think one good way around this woul be:

off a firmare program, that allows us to adjust our own settings video audio features and functions.

would not be to hard because that would solve the soundissue, and video issue.

company still needs to improve the cam they still can.

or just give us thesesettings Firmware no longer needed for a low budget cam

We shouldn't hassle them too much, they will get their back up. But if under the terms of your purchase you can return your camerae because it has problems and get another one (say a Sanyo) you can do that, and advise anybody else that doesn't like sound, focus and exposure problems that ruin footage.
