Please help. I am very happy with the camera I bought considering it is HD. However, i cannot edit any footage as There is no audio when importing my file to my editing system. I have tried Avid, Windows Media, and Sony Vegas, but none of these imports the sound with the video. I can play the file when I transfer the original from the camera to the PC and I can hear the sound, but the sound in the AVID is non existant.

I have tried everything and I am at the end of my teather. PLEAS PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

Did the camera come with a DVD that has video/audio codecs for you to install? Did you install those?

Yeah it did....but that only converts it into HD-DVD, but it doesnt really help that much to be honest.

PI and Fishey (esp Fishey)

Thank you very much.....Magix works a treat. never used it before, but it looks easy enough and does the job. I am glad I got that sorted out, as I was pulling my hair out, not knowing how to get my film on to DVD and edit it properly.

Amen.
