Oneplace first welcome to the site.............. LOL:G

Who told you this? I be suprized it it did. Ak them to back what they said up!

the v5v is which model the A-HD.

it is not a webcam a way to find out

1 hook up usb to pc, turn on

the device will be recognized. some cams will need another button pressed.

2 so press each one if nothing happens that's it nodda.

and yes they took it out when the Hd was being introduced , now they may add back in ina newer model.

the only other way possble I may see to work wil be using the tv playback cable and that I will test out now then make a quick video

yes this will work. you can shut off Icons but have ext memory show and tel / wide show

so it may be possable as a video caption and live cam. just not with a USB cable
