Hi,

I have currently a panasonic DV cam (SD pal 25 fields/sec) and I would like to have better quality (resolution wise, no interlacing and better fps (60p)).

Red Scarlet is certainly a good choice but it's not available yet, so I am looking for something (like aiptek z600) as a temporal solution. It seems that there aren't many cam which can do 720 60p or are there?

I will be primary filming indoor gym and I would like to film is at 720 60p, will z600 be a good choice? Would it be much better than my current cam (576 30 fields/sec)?

Thanks a lot.

The Aiptek AHD Z600/Action HD GVS is only available in Europe, so far.

It's not here in the U.S., yet, but Amazon is listing it now:

Until this model ships, not many individuals can really say much about how it actually performs unless they live in Europe.

Well I am in Europe and as I understand there are some Europeans who have alread bought it.

But just for comparison how well does z500 (720p 60fps) compared with a standaard PAL DV (25 fileds/sec, interlaced) for indoor sport (especially gym)?
