you may find that answer outside the Hybrid section as these are a lower budet cam. Sony sellsa hybrid at 6th ave electronics a local store for 800.00

and if you are going to compare these to higher ends then I go with a higher end.

no way I would put 600 $ on a dirtbike and go play in the mud

my canon was 300 and it worked well, but mini dv, 350 or so is my limit

yes that is right

always leave an option for a few dollars more. even if it means going to a better model or major brand.

this is why the Aips. Musteks dxg digilife and more are concidered low budget models, while the canon sony etc are major companies and concidered a diffrent class.

why is the battery life so different, because of the zoom lens?

I'm leaning towards the a-HD + because of battery life and the complaints about the zoom version's focus hunt and noise

I've not found any higher end flash hd camcorders even close to the aiptek's
