P.I:

tell us what you are pointing to, it is only a link to Aiptek.

if you are refferring to a particular model we may have some answers for you

the page shows a Action HD

Action HD sound can vary on filming, while placing it under various tests.. I am sure Aiptek already had done their tests and will pass with flying colors........

I am sure we can test video various situations and come up with failing results............

so before I further comment on just a homepage we need to know again what link and cam....

He is refering to the GO-HD. It's in his subtitle subject. I admit I missed it at first as well!

yep, i do appolgise for that............

The GO-HD is a great camera for 99.99 well worth every penny for 720P pkg deals199 at aiptek sitefor video while the Firmware of its beginning stages happened to be touch and go. the Model had a real loud gear noise, and corrected with the next level FW making it a decent cam. sound was good not bad, nor the best.

When complaints were made and with not just the GoHD but to the A-HD either way it is the same scenerio. the orginal FW was so so, and corrections were made, those who kept to the First Fw correction was satasfied.

A-HD

they recieved an unexpected suprize:

2x zoom became 4x zoom

int mem from 4 mb became 64 meb to be exact 4 secs- to- 30 secs

9 languages became 14

and sound corrections made. -6db

etc, etc, etc,

thus once proceeding to the newer version they got again a real suprize with video flaws...................

I believe the model is again decent for its price, etc..

when they released its newer version the Action HD I liked the idea of having

a few more video options 1080P 720p sports 720P (60 fps) and cif 352x240 or 340x280 they give you a good 5 options

so it is like saying I have theAction HD and a GO-Hd in one

Just wished the option for av inpuit was there.......

If you just click on the "GO-HD" link on the Web site, you'll get to the page.

Here's the direct link:

http://www.aiptek.com/Merchant2/merc...de=AS#features

I just took a second look.

It's "refurbished."

Not new.

Still... seems like a deal.

When mine gets here I'll let you know how well it works.

The Aiptek Web site says I get 30 days to trial it.

It will be interesting to compare the older "GO-HD" model with my newer "Action HD" model. I wanted a second "Action HD" a couple of months ago, but after going to Wal-Mart and buying it, I discovered its audio recording was not functional so I returned it. Perhaps this little "GO-HD" model will suffice. If they've fixed the audio with new firmware, then all I really need is the 720/30p as a backup.
