I believe this has been out for a while, appears to be a step down from the 595V. No optical zoom and no 720P 60 FPS. Looking forward to the DVH-A80 which is listed on DXG Asian sites, hopefully available soon in the states.

i dont want zoom, i want a fixed focus. too bad about no [email protected] tho.
i cant find any reviews or sample vids on it. weird...

1440x1080p is very appealing in a standard camcorder style, not many of these

DXG has caused some confusion.

When I originally posted the info about the "DXG 580v," the photo was of a totally different camcorder than what is now being displayed on the DXG USA Web site.

Now, DXG appears to have the original photo *only* on display on the Taiwan Web site and the model number has changed to DVS-126:

1 megapixel sensor... (1280 x 800) at least we know it uses all (at least horizontally) of the sensor for capturing video.
This is a pocket camera for sure.
